There is no need to vacuum, the X-Clean can vacuum and wash solid and liquid waste. If there is a large amount of dry debris on the floor, you can vacuum first to avoid filling the tank of the X-Clean too quickly.
Yes, you can put water up to 50°C maximum. Beyond that, the heat can damage the seals of the X-Clean washing vacuum cleaner and reduce their durability.
The X-Clean washing vacuum cleaner can be used on all types of smooth floors: polished concrete, tiles, terracotta, PVC, linoleum, hardwood.
For hardwood or more delicate floors, do not hesitate to use modes with a low water flow to avoid soaking them. We recommend testing the appliance on a small area for delicate floors when using it for the first time.
No, it does not scratch them: it is specially designed to clean your hard floors without damaging them. However, we recommend that you test the appliance on a small area when using it for the first time.
We do not recommend using the X-Clean on carpets. Even though they can pick up dirt, washing vacuum cleaners wet the textiles, which can leave marks or cause bacteria to grow.
The recommended use for our washing vacuum cleaners remains smooth floors.
The washing vacuum cleaner is compatible with most household cleaners on the market.
You are responsible for this, please follow these instructions: • Use multi-purpose detergents suitable for various types of floors. • Use solutions with mild surfactants. • Do not use products containing bleach, pure bleach, or corrosive agents. • Do not use foaming cleaning products (carpet shampoo, black soap, dishwashing liquid). • Do not use acid-based cleaners, such as some bathroom products. They are too aggressive and can corrode the metal parts of the washing vacuum cleaner. • Do not use greasy (black soap), toxic, flammable, aggressive products or products containing solid particles.
Adding household detergents to the water tank is your responsibility.
The X-Clean washing vacuum cleaner automatically recharges when you put it back on its base, which must be plugged in. Once fully charged, the appliance will turn off automatically, there is no need to unplug your base.
With the soft roller, the hair wrapping will be more limited than with a traditional vacuum cleaner. If you have a lot of hair, we recommend a quick vacuuming beforehand.
You can also opt for an appliance with anti-winding technology such as the X-Clean 10 washing vacuum cleaner.
As with a traditional mop, a stubborn stain will take longer than a superficial stain. Our recommendation: • Use the "MAX" mode on the washing vacuum cleaner. • Let the roller run for a few moments on the stain to moisten it well, then go over it several times to remove the stain.
Our X-Clean ranges cannot be used without water and with dry vacuuming. To use the X-Clean washing vacuum cleaner, the clean water tank must be filled.
The X-Clean 4 washing vacuum cleaner can go under furniture with the roller up to about 20 cm deep, but it is not possible to completely lie it down. If you absolutely want an appliance that can go under furniture, we recommend the X-Clean 10 model.
The X-Clean 4 washing vacuum cleaner weighs 4.3 kg in total and the weight felt in hand is only 1.1 kg. Its weight is mainly located at the bottom of the appliance and its self-propelled system greatly facilitates its handling.
The X-Clean 4 washing vacuum cleaner comes with two different rollers: • A scrubbing roller (with a blue stripe): perfect for cleaning hard floors and removing stubborn stains thanks to its stiffer bristles. • A soft roller: to gently clean delicate floors without the risk of damaging them.
It is important to do this immediately after using your appliance. This operation is very simple and only takes a few seconds. It cleans the brush by removing accumulated dirt and wringing it out. After this self-cleaning, we recommend that you place the brush to dry on the support provided for this purpose.
After each self-cleaning cycle, it is important to empty both tanks of your appliance. However, it is not necessary to wash the roller and the rest of the appliance. For this step, we recommend (depending on your frequency of use and type of dirt vacuumed) to wash your roller once a week.
The wear of the brushes depends mainly on the surface of the floors. If your home is covered only with tiles, the life of the brushes will be longer than for those used on rougher surfaces such as terracotta or concrete. In any case, you will notice when the bristles of your brush start to be damaged. The average recommendation is to change your roller every 6 months.
No, the X-Clean roller is not compatible with the washing machine, which could damage it and then affect your appliance. If your roller is dirty, we recommend that you wash it under the tap with dishwashing liquid, and then rinse it thoroughly to remove any residue.
The overheating protection breaker of your vacuum cleaner has been activated. You should clean the motor filter, change the microactive filter (according to model) and replace the dust bag or empty the dust collector. Then wait 30 minutes before starting your appliance again.
It could be due to several causes: • The crosshead regulator is on open position, close it. • Vacuum flow is blocked: Check the tube, the nozzle and the hose. • The container or bag is full, change it or clean it (depending on model). • The filtration system is clogged up, clean or replace it.
